Lunch & Learn - Effective Community Engagement

The words ‘engage with the community’ are stated so often as a requirement of a job, a role responsibility, or as a means to appearing to understand the community – but what does this really mean, and what does it involve?

To maximise the effectiveness of good engagement, you need to understand and be aware of:

• Why should we engage?
• Who should we engage with?
• When should we engage with the community?
• How should this engagement be done?

So come along and be involved in a chat about the opportunities, challenges, benefits and necessity of ‘engagement’.
