Let’s talk about (sex) consent education. Consent education has been a hot topic in the Australian media over the last few months. Everyone has strong feelings and opinions!

This session will unpack a whole school approach to consent education and provide opportunities to reflect on how and where many of these strategies can be applied to all areas of health education.

Experienced school and community health educators and specialists in this area Sharelle Tulloh (Senior Policy Officer – Schools, Department of Health, Sexual Health and Blood-Borne Virus Program (SHBBVP) and Sue Dimitrijevich (Private health education consultant) will facilitate this mini-workshop.

This is a FREE event however Tickets are essential for catering purposes.

Following the breakfast you are invited to browse the stalls and participate in the Cyril Jackson Health Festival

The aim of the CJ Health Festival is to create links that promote healthy lifestyles, which in turn will assist in achieving personal and educational goals. It is also an opportunity to introduce students to community agencies that provide health services, information and support.

Last year there were over 60 displays and stalls ranging from sexual health and drug awareness, to healthy eating and road safety.
