Public forum: Electronic gambling and health

The WA Government is currently considering legislation to privatise the TAB, the state-owned betting agency. As part of the sale, the legislation will permit simulated racing machines to be placed in TABs in WA.

Public Health Association Australia WA Branch, Public Health Advocacy Institute of WA, Anglicare WA, and WA Council of Social Service are hosting an event that will highlight the harm that electronic gambling can have on the community. Come along to hear from experts talk about why permitting simulated racing machines is not a good idea for the health of Western Australians!
