Health Promotion Practitioner Registration Renewal

Renewal of your registration is required every three years. Eligibility for renewal is based on maintaining and confirming evidence of continuing experience in health promotion practice and completion of a specified amount of continuing professional development (CPD) activities. Guidelines on CPD requirements are available here.

Towards the end of the three-year registration period, Registered Health Promotion Practitioners will receive an email reminder prompting them to renew registration.

To reregister, please prepare and provide the following materials within three months following the renewal date:

  1. Reregistration Application Form

  2. CPD tracking spreadsheet (or equivalent) which records 75 hours of applicable CPD activities in the last three years.

Application fees
There is a one-off payment of $38.50 (inc. GST) in addition to the AHPA annual registration fee.

NOTE: If a Registered Health Promotion Practitioner does not apply for reregistration within 3 months following the renewal date, they will be deregistered.
