The Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Sport has presented its report for the inquiry into diabetes entitled The State of Diabetes Mellitus in Australia in 2024 including mention of evidence provided to the Inquiry by AHPA Directors Dr Dimitri Batras and Associate Professor Freya MacMillan.

You can read more about AHPA's full written submission here.
Following the written submission, AHPA Directors Dr Dimitri Batras and Associate Professor Freya MacMillan attended a Public Hearing in Canberra to present evidence at the Public Hearing and were both featured in the report: Dimitri commenting on the confusion generated by the Australian Health Star Rating system; and Freya raising the importance of co-design with community and those with lived experience.
