This one day course provides students with exposure to fundamental biostatistical concepts and terminology. It is a perfect introduction or refresher for health care professionals wishing to undertake research but struggling with the biostatistical element. The course provides students with sound grounding in biostatistical theory and concepts to enable their future use of electronic platforms for data management.
This course is run as a one day, highly interactive workshop. The course is recommended as an extension to the “Introduction to Research Methods”.
On completion of this course students will receive certification from The Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre and Monash University (SPHPM).
By the end of this program, students will be able to answer the following questions:
