19 May 2016, 9:00am-5:00pm

REGISTRATIONS OPEN

This one day course is a concise introduction to clinical research methodology and the practical skills required for undertaking such research. It introduces key terminology and processes in order to provide health professionals and students who have not previously undertaken or led research with the confidence and skills to contribute to this crucial element of the evidence based care continuum.

This course is run as a one day, highly interactive workshop. As an extension to this course, it is recommended students undertake the “Introduction to Biostatistics”. Introduction to Biostatistics is a separate one day program providing a more focused introduction to statistical theory and concepts. Introduction to Biostatistics will be run on 20 May 2016. It is recommended that students complete the "Introduction to Biostatistics" course consecutively with the "Introduction to Research Methods". A discounted registration is available for students who attend both courses.

On completion of this course students will receive certification from The Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre and Monash University (SPHPM).
