Join us for the August 2023 meeting of the Health Promotion Learning and Teaching Community of Practice. A/Prof Hassan Hosseinzadeh will present his work on case-based scenario teaching. Critical thinking is essential to health promotion to overcome increasingly complex health issues. International students are often disadvantaged when required to demonstrate critical thinking, mainly because of their previous training in memorisation. A/Prof Hosseinzadeh will present a study which addresses this need by showcasing the effect of case scenario-based teaching on transition from memorisation to critical thinking among international students in an Australian university.
