Description: Mass media, including print, television, radio and online, has an unparalleled reach as a communication mechanism.  The media has the power to provide health related information that can reinforce or alter norms and attitudes that influence individual behaviours as well as providing a platform for advocating healthier policies and civic action.

For Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Practitioners to influence health behaviours, it is essential to understand how the media works and how we can work with them.

Join Injury Matters for the ‘Working with the Media Workshop’.  A presentation will be provided by Anna Hill, Head of Mentoring from Hancock Creative and Samantha Vigus, Manager Marketing Communications from Royal Life Saving Society WA.
