Lily Palmer

President

Lily Palmer is a Research Officer at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, for the Tina Trial, a clinical trial of mirtazapine for methamphetamine dependence (tinatrial.info), based in Perth. Lily has previously worked on the Ecstasy and Related Drug Reporting System (EDRS) and the Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS) as a telephone interviewer. She has also previously been involved in research areas such as justice health and prevention and early intervention. Lily is an IUHPE-accredited Health Promotion Practitioner, who sits on the Australian Health Promotion Association WA Branch committee.

Lily has been with the AHPA WA Branch Committee since 2018, as a member of the Student Subcommittee. In this time, she has assisted in planning the Student Careers Night as well as other networking opportunities. Lily is delighted to now work alongside the WA Branch committee, and hopes to continue her efforts in capacity building.
