Dr Athira Rohit is a public health researcher, specialising in qualitative methodologies. She has a PhD in Health Science (Optometry) and a Master of Public Health degree and has worked as a qualitative health researcher across several population health projects in the Northern Territory and recently in Western Australia. Her key areas of interest include Aboriginal health particularly in maternal and child health. Athira currently works as a Research Fellow with the School of Population & Global Health in the (Reducing) Oral Health Inequities Research Group and focuses on a range of oral health and equity projects, with a particular focus on under-served population groups.
