Li Ming has extensive research experience in the fields of medicine, social science and public health in China and Australia. Since 2000, he has been the Research and Evaluation Manager in the Health Promotion Service of Sydney Local Health District.
He is also an Associate Professor in Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney, and holds a position as Adjunct Professor in both the School of Public Health, Fudan University, and the Faculty of Medicine, Tongji University, China. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters as well as a number of research reports. His current research interests include clinical trials and practice in the areas of obesity prevention, sexual health, physical activity, nutrition, active transport and tobacco control with specific expertise in the evaluation of public health and health promotion initiatives.
