The Preventive Health SA Award, a joint award by AHPA SA and Public Health Association of Australia SA, recognises individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to health promotion and public health in South Australia.
In 2024, the award was presented at the SA Population Health Conference to Professor Anna Ziersch.
Professor Ziersch, a distinguished social scientist with over 20 years of research experience, employs qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the social determinants of health and promote health equity.
