AHPA's National Health Promotion Symposium 2023

AHPA is thrilled to be hosting a National Health Promotion Symposium on Wadawurrung Country, Geelong Victoria. 

Join us for critical, timely and insightful conversations with leading thinkers on the conditions that shape the health and wellbeing of our people, places and planet and the global and local imperative for bold health promotion action.

The Symposium will be held at the Geelong Events Centre at Rydges Geelong over two days: Wednesday 25^th – Thursday 26^th October 2023.

We are looking forward to bringing the health promotion sector together face to face for the first time since 2018 at this in-person event.

AHPA has priced the event affordably, acknowledging the current cost of living pressures and the importance of bringing as many of the sector together as possible. We encourage members to register early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out.

Please note:

• Virtual participation is available for keynotes only. Virtual participation provides access to the four plenary sessions (keynote speakers and panel discussions), which will be live streamed. A recording of the plenary sessions will be shared with all attendees (in-person and virtual) after the event. Concurrent sessions (workshops and presentations) will not be live-streamed or recorded.
• To support member attendance and for this event only, we are pleased to offer AHPA corporate/organisational members unlimited registration for employees at the reduced member prices, rather than the two (2) discounted registrations included in their membership benefits. Organisations can contact us to arrange bulk registration and invoicing.
• We invite symposium attendees to join us for a Standing Dinner Reception at Rydges Geelong, 6-8pm on Wednesday 25 October. This is a ticketed networking event.
