Professional development opportunity.

The Lancet has identified climate change as the most significant challenge, and opportunity, for public health in the 21st century. Extreme weather events, unprecedented bushfires, floods and drought threaten the major determinants of health. Health promoters are well placed to address action on climate change with health co-benefits.

Join us online on Monday 25th October from 12.30pm-2pm to hear from key experts in the sector, featuring guest speaker, Dr Rebecca Patrick - President of Climate and Health Alliance. You will also learn about case studies from the field, with the opportunity to engage in questions, discussions and exchange of knowledge.

For those keeping track of their CPD for Health Practitioner Registration reregistration, it is important to record on your personal system attendance at such CPD events. Visit this link for more information on CPD.

If you are interested in some re-reading materials, these can be found on the AHPA VIC/TAS Branch website
