Corie Gray
Scholarships Coordinator

Corie has a Bachelors (Health Promotion) and was awarded the AHPA Peter Howat Award for Academic Excellence in Health Promotion. She has been an AHPA WA Healthway Graduate Scholarship recipient herself, exploring barriers to HIV testing among migrant communities.

Corie is currently completing her PhD, using a participatory action research methodology to co-design a health promotion intervention with migrant women. Corie is a sessional academic in the School of Population Health at Curtin University and works across several projects at the Collaboration for Evidence, Research, and Impact in Public Health (CERIPH). She is also an IUHPE RHPP.

As the Scholarship Coordinator, Corie’s role is to provide support to each of the scholarship recipients and their projects, promote the scholarship program to potential candidates and health promotion agencies, and coordinate submissions and shortlisting of scholarship applications.
