Galit Shachaf
Correspondence Secretary

Galit is a public health professional committed to improving health outcomes through research translation, policy, and health promotion, with a focus on urban planning, women’s health, and ageing populations.

Currently advancing her knowledge through a Master of Public Health, she has a strong interest in health promotion and capacity building within communities. Galit holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Exercise) and brings experience in community engagement, program management, and communication strategies. She volunteers with OzHarvest Australia, supporting nutrition education initiatives, and is an alumna of the University of South Australia, where she is undertaking research exploring strategies to increase physical activity among middle-aged adults.
