Australian Health Promotion Association is a partner in the Climate The Climate and Health Alliance was established in August 2010. It is an alliance of health care stakeholders which includes health care professionals from a range of disciplines, health care service providers, institutions, academics, researchers, and health care consumers across Australia who wish to see the risk to human health from climate change addressed through prompt policy action.
The Alliance recognises policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have the potential to bring important public health benefits. Actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions can not only reduce the health risks associated with climate change and environmental harm, but can also improve health outcomes, and reduce costs through increases in physical activity, improved air quality, and improved diet.

Arts and Health The value of the arts to health and wellbeing is now well known. There is increasing evidence that participation in creative activities directly improves the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities - in both the short term and long term.
The Arts and Health Foundation is an Australian non-profit organisation formed to promote and expand the knowledge and evidence of these benefits in order to increase arts practices in health settings and so improve the health of all Australians. Visit the website for more information and to download your project.
