Victorian State Branch Contact Details

The Victorian Branch of Australian Health Promotion Association has established a 'virtual office' including a Telstra hot mail and an Optus voice mail.

ALL INQUIRIES AT THE STATE LEVEL (i.e. seminar information etc.) can be forwarded to the following number or email. These are checked daily.

When was the Victorian Branch established?

The Victorian branch has been established since 1993 when the inaugural Annual general Meeting was held.

Benefits of AHPA Membership

The Health Promotion Association operates at both a National and Branch level in order to achieve its objectives. At the national level, some of the Health Promotion Association's major programs include:
  • The Australian Health Promotion Association's National Conference, which is usually held annually
  • The peer reviewed Health Promotion Journal of Australia (3 issues per year)
  • The Australian Health Promotion Update, the National Newsletter, is produced quarterly and provides regular updates of current projects and events
  • Information about employment, professional development activities as well as other matters of interest circulated via the national Mass e-mailing facility
