Health Promotion Advocacy
The Association's advocacy role is to influence a broad range of public policies particularly in the federal sphere as they impact on population health. The Association's National Policy Research Officer, along with the National Management Committee are currently working on a range of projects and building partnerships with like minded Associations, lobby groups and organisations.
The purpose of this section is to
1. Keep members informed of AHPA's advocacy work, and to
2. Provide advocacy information and resources including journal articles, guides, tool kits and websites to enable health promotion practitioners to engage in effective action at the national, branch and local levels.
